Explore Our Recent Projects

Here are some of our past projects. Dhulu Civil & Mining has a long history of accepting challenges that tested our skills and required our expertise.

Chambers Flat Road Upgrade

The Chambers Flat Road upgrade showcased our expertise in navigating challenging conditions with a mix of precision and ingenuity. We had to draw on all our skills and insights to achieve success, leaving a lasting impression on our partners.

The Challenge

Dhulu Civil & Earthworks was subcontracted by See Civil for the Chambers Flat Road upgrade, which presented several complex challenges. The working corridor was extremely confined, with 136 driveways and limited space due to residential access. Additionally, the team had to navigate low overhead power lines, unmarked underground services and mitigate the environmental impact on nearby waterways.

Our Solution

To tackle the confined spaces, we deployed zero-swing machines that allowed us to work safely in tight areas. For the low overhead power lines, we used appropriately sized equipment to operate underneath safely. Our competent operators noticed a pattern with marked underground services and, after confirming with the client, discovered additional unmarked services, ensuring they were addressed. To minimise environmental impact, we directed water runoff to pump-out areas and proper drainage systems.

The Result

The project was completed on time, with zero incidents. Our ability to navigate these complex conditions effectively has led to continued subcontracted work with See Civil.
